What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, and site-specific policies at a retail or mall location, including emergency response activities when appropriate.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to management and/or emergency services as needed.Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, corridors, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas; assist with access control and crowd flow during peak shopping periods and special events.Complete timely reports of incidents, observations, and service calls, and communicate relevant updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

A TSA issued TWIC is required.A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
