What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed at a food and beverage distribution location.Control access at entry points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and directing guests and delivery drivers to appropriate check-in areas.Screen inbound and outbound vehicle and pedestrian traffic in accordance with site procedures, including coordinating with shipping and receiving operations and documenting trailer and seal information when required.Monitor cameras, alarms, and access control systems, and communicate unusual activity to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including completing notifications and written reports per post orders.Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, loading dock areas, yards, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.Assist with enforcement of site rules related to restricted areas, employee and visitor movement, and after-hours access, escalating concerns through the chain of command.Complete shift activity logs, incident reports, and other documentation, and support investigations by preserving information such as times, descriptions, and video references when available.Maintain a professional presence at access control posts, provide directions and information to employees and visitors, and support a positive experience while following site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
