As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a residential community, you will complete routine vehicle patrols, stay highly visible, and respond to calls for assistance to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with residents and site contacts, and support a welcoming experience. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Conduct regular and random patrols of residential buildings, common areas, amenities, parking areas, and perimeter fencing or gates to help to deter unauthorized activity.Monitor access points and community entrances, verify authorization for entry as required, and assist with visitor and delivery guidance per site procedures.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, suspicious activity, and resident concerns.Observe and report unusual conditions such as damaged property, unsecured doors or gates, hazards, and maintenance issues, and notify the appropriate contacts per post orders.Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation with accurate details and timely submission.Communicate professionally with site management, residents, and local public services as needed, using phone, radio, and/or other approved methods.Support property rules enforcement in a courteous manner, including parking compliance observations and amenity use guidelines, and escalate issues per site procedures.Control keys, access devices, and other assigned equipment per site policy, and report lost, found, or malfunctioning items promptly.Perform additional duties as assigned that support the location’s security-related program and customer service expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 1 year of security experience is required.A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.A guard card/license is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
