As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage distribution location, you will drive through assigned areas to conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and service calls. You will complete detailed reports, communicate clearly with site contacts, and deliver a customer-first presence. This role requires a valid driver’s license and supports a culture built on integrity, teamwork, agility, and reliability.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to site personnel, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or suspicious conditions.Control access at gates and entry points by verifying identification, managing visitor logs, and coordinating check-in and/or check-out for deliveries, pickups, and contractors.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, trespass concerns, disturbances, and medical-related calls, and notify site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.Complete detailed incident reports, patrol documentation, and shift activity logs, and communicate status updates to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 1+ years' armed security/law enforcement/military experience.A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
