As a Security Officer - Federal Facility Patrol in AUSTIN, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance with clear communication and professionalism. You will document observations, report hazards or unusual activity, and support staff and visitors with customer-focused service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and vendors at a government location by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by location.Monitor access control points, assist with visitor check-in and/or badging as directed, and help to maintain orderly entry and exit in accordance with posted rules and site instructions.Respond to incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner; coordinate with site representatives and local public services when needed.Complete detailed reports of patrol activity, incidents, and unusual observations; communicate updates to on-site contacts and Allied Universal leadership using approved methods.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
