As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet patients, visitors, and staff with strong customer service, communicate clearly, and document observations using a computer and/or tablet. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support and coordinating notifications to onsite leadership and/or emergency responders as required.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, clinics, parking areas, and perimeter routes, noting unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns for follow-up.Support access control by monitoring entrances, verifying visitor permissions when directed, assisting with wayfinding, and helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or restricted-area access.Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and shift communications, and participate in briefings and handoffs to support continuity of security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

Hospital: Vaccines is required.Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.X‐Ray Screening Experience is preferred.Customer Service Experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
