Security Officer EMT Patrol Driver

As an EMT Certified Security Officer - Vehicle Patrol, in Reading, PA, you will be a member of a pre-hospital emergency care medical team. You will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an EMT certified Security Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for all. You will conduct regular patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. As this is a driving post, you will also be responsible for mobile patrols as required. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and notifying appropriate site contacts as needed.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout manufacturing and industrial areas, warehouses, loading docks, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unsafe conditions.Control access at vehicle and pedestrian entry points by checking credentials, issuing visitor passes, and/or verifying deliveries and pickups per site procedures.Monitor alarm panels, CCTV, and/or other security-related systems, escalating irregular activity and/or equipment issues according to post orders.Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and shift activities, including maintaining logs for access control, patrols, and/or key control when assigned.Support emergency and incident response by assisting with evacuations, perimeter control, and/or coordination with site management and local responders when directed.Perform routine checks of doors, gates, fencing, and critical areas to help to deter unauthorized entry, theft, and/or damage.Maintain a professional presence and communicate clearly with site leadership and Allied Universal management regarding conditions that may require follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.EMT Certification is required.Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
