What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with the resolution of issues as they arise.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to staff, students, and visitors.Document and report any incidents, observations, or irregularities according to site protocols.Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and location staff to support a secure and welcoming environment.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.At least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.Vaccines required for hospital assignments.Must be at least 21 years of age for this role.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
