As a Security Officer - Driving Technology Patrol in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a leading tech location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. You will remain visible, respond to situations as they arise, and provide outstanding customer service. Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, both inside and outside, to help to deter unwanted activity.Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, observations, and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and/or employees to provide assistance and uphold security-related standards.Assist local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as needed during incidents or emergencies at the location.Minimum Requirements:
At least one year of security-related experience is required.Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.A guard card or license is preferred.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
