As an unarmed, driving patrol Security Officer at a government transportation location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support staff and riders with professional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service at a government transportation location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of platforms, stops, facilities, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including handling disturbances, assisting with medical calls, and coordinating with public agency personnel and/or law enforcement when required.Monitor access points and public areas, help to deter unauthorized activity, and provide directions and assistance to riders, visitors, and employees.Complete detailed shift documentation and incident reports, communicate observations to supervision, and escalate unusual conditions per post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age.A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
