Security Officer - Down Town

As a Security Officer - Down Town in Milwaukee, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an unarmed, driving Patrol Officer at a leading automotive manufacturing location, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, stay highly visible, and help to deter security-related incidents across the property. You will document and communicate observations, respond to calls for assistance, and deliver outstanding customer service to team members and visitors. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to client staff, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout automotive-related facilities, including production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and perimeter lines. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.Monitor access points and help to control entry for employees, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures, using visitor logs and/or badge verification as required.Observe for unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations and promptly report concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.Perform routine rounds to check doors, gates, and building conditions and report maintenance issues that could impact site operations.Monitor alarms, cameras, and other site systems when assigned, and communicate events to appropriate personnel per post orders.Assist with traffic flow and parking direction during shift changes, deliveries, and special events when requested by site management.Support emergency and incident response activities such as evacuations, medical response coordination, and weather-related procedures as directed by site protocols.Complete required reports, logs, and shift documentation in a timely manner, including incident reports and patrol activity logs, and participate in briefings and handoffs between shifts.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Customer service experience is preferred.CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
