As a Security Officer - Distribution Center Patrol in Rancho Dominguez, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents across docks, yards, and warehouse spaces. You will observe and report activity, support access control for staff and visitors, and communicate clearly with operations teams. Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate timely updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the warehouse, yard, loading docks, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.Monitor access points for employees, contractors, and drivers, verifying authorization and directing visitors to the appropriate check-in process.Support truck and trailer movement controls by observing gate activity, documenting arrivals and departures, and reporting irregularities per site procedures.Operate and monitor CCTV and/or other security-related systems, and report suspicious or unusual activity according to post orders.Complete daily activity reports and incident reports with clear, factual details, and maintain required logs for the location.Provide assistance during alarms, injuries, spills, or other disruptions by following site procedures and coordinating with emergency responders as directed.Perform routine checks of doors, docks, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and reduce property loss.Maintain a professional presence and provide directions and information to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while supporting a positive site experience.Minimum Requirements:
