As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Lancaster, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols to help support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and shipments. You will remain visible, document security-related activity, respond to incidents, and communicate clearly with site contacts while delivering customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a distribution and warehouse location.Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior and exterior areas including docks, yards, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.Monitor access points and assist with screening of visitors, contractors, and deliveries, including verifying identification, issuing badges, and directing traffic flow in accordance with site procedures.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including dispatching assistance, documenting details, and escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as required.Complete timely reports such as patrol logs, incident reports, and access logs, and communicate relevant information during shift handoff to support consistent site operations.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.At least 1 year of security experience is required.CPR certification is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
