Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.Staff the front desk and main entry area, greeting and directing visitors, answering phones, and providing general information while maintaining a professional presence.Support facility access control by checking identification, validating authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and documenting entries and exits in accordance with site requirements.Coordinate visitor processing, including appointment verification, host notifications, and maintaining visitor logs and credential accountability.Assist with badge-related administration such as temporary badge issuance, deactivation requests, and routing access questions to the appropriate site contact.Monitor cameras, access control panels, alarms, and/or communication systems from the front desk area and report irregular activity according to post orders.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services and notifying site leadership as directed.Complete detailed reports of daily activity, incident reports, and other required documentation, maintaining accurate records for Allied Universal and the location.Support package, delivery, and service vendor check-in by verifying credentials, documenting arrivals, and coordinating with receiving and/or facility contacts per site policy.Participate in required briefings and training and follow Allied Universal and site procedures for confidentiality and controlled information handling as applicable.Minimum Requirements:
Have 1 or more years of security-related experience.Be 21 or more years of age.CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.A guard card and/or license is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
