What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors by following site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a government location.Operate the front desk access control process by greeting and screening visitors, verifying identification, issuing temporary credentials, and maintaining visitor logs.Monitor cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems from the front desk and communicate unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating site emergency response notifications as directed by post orders.Answer phones, route calls, and coordinate with on-site departments and/or building management regarding access requests, deliveries, and general inquiries.Document and report incidents, observations, and service requests using written logs and electronic reporting tools in accordance with site policy.Control key, badge, and credential accountability when assigned, including tracking issuance and returns per site procedures.Support access management for scheduled meetings and high-traffic periods by organizing check-in flow and providing clear directions to authorized areas.Assist with maintaining front desk appearance and readiness by keeping required forms, signage, and communication equipment available for daily operations.

Minimum Requirements:

Have 2+ years of security experience.Be 21+ years of age.Customer service experience is preferred.Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
