As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a busy retail distribution location, you will support access control by checking credentials, issuing badges, and guiding visitors and deliveries to the right areas. You will perform routine patrols, document security-related activity using a computer or tablet, and provide helpful customer service while remaining visible to help deter incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, backed by a caring, agile, and integrity-led team.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, drivers, associates, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Control access at gates, entry points, and/or checkpoints by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining access logs, and directing traffic flow for inbound and outbound activity.Monitor CCTV, alarms, and access control systems, and report irregular activity to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management to help to deter unauthorized access.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and completing required reports.Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, loading areas, and perimeter to check for policy compliance and security-related concerns; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.Customer Service Experience is preferred.Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
