As a Dispatch and Vehicle Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy College Campus, you will coordinate security-related responses, monitor alarms and cameras, manage radio and phone communications, and document activity with clear, detailed reporting. You will also support on-site teams by directing patrol coverage, helping to reduce incident impact, and delivering professional customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license to meet AU Driver Policy requirements.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Operate the dispatch center by receiving, prioritizing, and routing calls for service from employees, contractors, visitors, and/or alarm systems.Dispatch patrol personnel and coordinate response to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.Monitor CCTV, access control, and intrusion/fire panels as assigned, and communicate observed activity to appropriate personnel.Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with site requirements and Allied Universal standards.Support access control operations by verifying credentials, issuing temporary badges as directed, and documenting visitor and vendor entries.Communicate via radio, phone, and computer systems to relay instructions, status updates, and escalation notifications to supervisors and client contacts.Assist with emergency notifications and internal announcements, including coordinating call lists and mass notification procedures when directed.Conduct security-related checks of gates, doors, loading areas, and perimeter points through cameras and/or scheduled radio check-ins.Partner with site leadership and Allied Universal management to follow post orders, complete required training, and participate in drills and briefings as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

A minimum of one year of security experience is required.A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Customer service experience is preferred.Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
