You will conduct routine patrols across platforms, stations, and surrounding areas, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and assist riders and staff with clear communication and customer service. Provide customer service to riders, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures, access requirements, and post orders at a government transportation location.Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms, station interiors, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help identify and report security-related concerns.Respond to incidents, alarms, and service calls in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and public agency personnel as needed.Monitor for suspicious activity, unattended items, and violations of posted rules, taking appropriate actions within scope and documenting observations.Complete detailed reports and logs, communicate updates via radio and/or phone, and support emergency response activities as directed by site procedures.Minimum Requirements:
Have at least 2+ years of security-related experience.Be 21+ years of age.Handcuffing certification is preferred.CPR certification is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
