What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the chemical and petrochemical location.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards.Observe and report any unusual activity, maintenance issues, or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.Assist with controlling access to restricted areas and monitoring entry and exit points as required by site protocols.Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as directed by Allied Universal and site guidelines.Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and support a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.Customer service experience is preferred.Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
