As an unarmed, driving patrol officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine mobile and on-foot patrols, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access control with clear communication and customer service. You will document observations, respond to calls for assistance, and work as part of an agile, reliable, and innovative Allied Universal team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Provide customer service to all personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a chemical and petrochemical location.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production support areas, and perimeter routes to help identify unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and/or hazards, and report findings per site procedures.Monitor access points, gates, and/or checkpoint locations by verifying identification and authorization, directing visitors and contractors, and documenting entries and exits in logs and/or electronic systems.Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications to site contacts and/or emergency services as required by post orders.Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and shift reports, and communicate relevant updates during shift transitions to support continuity of operations.Minimum Requirements:
A minimum of 6 months of security experience is required.Client requires proof of high school diploma and/or GED.A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
