What You'll Do:

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with site-specific policies.Provide customer service by assisting individuals with inquiries and directing them appropriately while maintaining a professional presence.Carry out security-related procedures and protocols specific to chemical and petrochemical environments, including the handling of restricted areas and sensitive materials.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity, adapting to the unique conditions of the location.Document and report any security-related incidents, irregularities, or hazards as observed during assigned shifts.Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to support security-related operations and maintain awareness of ongoing site activities.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by TSA is required.Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
