As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at an education location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support students, staff, and visitors through strong customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Conduct regular and random patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.Monitor access points and check credentials, visitor logs, and/or authorization as required by site procedures.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, disturbances, suspicious activity, and/or property concerns.Observe and report conditions that may impact operations, such as propped doors, malfunctioning locks, lighting issues, and/or hazards, and notify appropriate personnel.Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and/or other required documentation in a timely manner.Provide directions and general assistance, support campus events as assigned, and help maintain orderly movement in high-traffic areas.Communicate clearly with campus staff and/or public responders via radio, phone, and/or other approved methods, following established escalation protocols.Participate in drills, briefings, and training related to emergency procedures, de-escalation, and customer service expectations.Use approved systems and/or equipment such as radios, access control tools, and video monitoring when assigned, following site policies and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

Client requires proof of high school diploma and/or GED.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
