As a Security Officer - Media Reception Desk in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a tech and telecom location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge activity, and support a professional lobby experience. You will monitor cameras and entry points, document security-related activity, and communicate clearly with employees and guests. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by following site-specific procedures, security-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Staff the front desk post to help manage facility access by greeting visitors, confirming authorization, and directing them to the appropriate contact or location.Issue, collect, and account for visitor credentials and/or temporary badges in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor logs.Monitor and respond to security-related alarms, alerts, and communications from building systems and/or monitoring tools used at a technology-focused location.Answer and route incoming calls and inquiries, relay messages, and coordinate with client contacts and/or building management as needed.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting details and notifying the appropriate parties per post orders.Observe lobby and entry areas for unusual activity and report concerns promptly to help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior.Complete shift reports, access records, and incident documentation using required paper and/or electronic systems.Coordinate visitor appointments, deliveries, and vendor check-ins, confirming authorization and directing traffic to designated pickup and drop-off areas.Support emergency procedures such as lockdowns, evacuations, and medical response notifications by following site instructions and communicating updates to Allied Universal leadership and/or client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

- Client requires proof of high school diploma or equivalent.- Be at least 21 years of age.- Access Control and/or Badge Experience is preferred.- Customer Service Experience is preferred.- Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
