JOB SUMMARY
The Security Bike Officer ensures a safe and welcoming environment for guests and team members while protecting company assets. Responsibilities include patrolling assigned areas, assisting guests, monitoring for suspicious activity, gaming violations, theft, safety hazards, medical emergencies, and property damage. Officers must know the location of emergency equipment and exits, report incidents promptly to Security Dispatch, and be ready to assist other officers. They are expected to maintain professionalism, courtesy, and visibility in outdoor areas in accordance with Caesars Entertainment policies and mission
HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY
Ensure safety and security of all exterior property areas.
Provide friendly and professional guest service, including accurate directions.
Patrol outdoor spaces to deter criminal activity and identify hazards.
Maintain and inspect issued bike and equipment, report issues promptly.
Control traffic and report parking or traffic problems to management.
Respond quickly to incidents and assist fellow officers when needed.
Act as a first responder for medical emergencies, including First Aid and CPR.
Document and investigate incidents requiring security intervention.
Enforce company policies and comply with Nevada Gaming laws.
Support civil and law enforcement authorities, including court testimony.
Follow departmental procedures, including use-of-force guidelines.
Maintain professional appearance and exercise sound judgment at all times.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Must be 21 years of age or older
High school graduation or equivalent is required
Proficient in English verbal and written
Must have Nevada Driver’s License
Must be able to obtain and possess a Nevada Gaming Registration Card, an Alcohol Awareness Card (AES/TAM), First Aid & CPR certifications
Must present a well-groomed appearance.
Must undergo eight (8) hours of ASP (baton) training
Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to work and stand inside and outside, sometimes in heat more than 115 degrees, or cold as low as 10 degrees.Ensure safety and security of all exterior property areas. Preferred: 2 years in police, military police, or casino security. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in extreme temperatures (10°–115°F). Must restrain individuals when necessary. Ability to stoop, bend, jump, twist, crouch, grip, and maneuver quickly on various surfaces. Lift up to 60 lbs; push/pull up to 150 lbs. Respond calmly in crises and make rational decisions under stress. Work independently and maintain sound judgment. Strong observation and memory skills for incident details. Tolerate secondhand smoke, high noise, bright lights, and dust. Pass physical and written testing at Western Division Security Academy within 90 days (Controlled Force, Defensive Tactics, Legal Issues, etc.). Re-certify between years 2 and 3 through the Academy. Maintain bike/mobile unit safely, including helmet and seat belt compliance.
Ability to provide court testimony and write detailed reports.
