As a Security Officer - Bank Front Desk in Wichita, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a financial institution, you will be the welcoming first point of contact, helping manage access control, visitor check-in, and badge procedures while monitoring the lobby for security-related concerns. You will communicate clearly with staff and guests, document activity, and use computer or tablet tools to support daily operations. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.Control access to the facility by welcoming visitors, verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests to the appropriate area per site procedures.Monitor alarms, CCTV, and other monitoring systems from the front desk, documenting unusual activity and reporting concerns to Allied Universal supervision and/or site leadership.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalating disruptive behavior and contacting emergency services when needed.Complete incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation, and communicate updates during shift turnover to support consistent operations.

Minimum Requirements:

Customer service experience is preferred.Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
