As a Security Officer - Bank Front Desk in KANSAS CITY, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will greet employees and visitors, manage access control, issue badges, and support lobby operations with clear communication and a professional presence. You will monitor cameras and alarms, document security-related activity, and coordinate with site staff to help reduce incidents. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a financial institution location.Monitor the entry and reception area, greeting and directing guests, issuing visitor credentials per post orders, and maintaining professional lobby presence.Control access by verifying identification, confirming appointments and/or authorization, and coordinating with client contacts for approvals as needed.Answer phones and route calls, messages, and requests to appropriate departments while maintaining confidentiality expectations common to financial services environments.Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems from the front desk as assigned, reporting irregular activity to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, initiating emergency response activities when appropriate and following established escalation procedures.Complete required documentation such as incident reports, access logs, visitor logs, and package logs with accurate and timely information.Support building operations by coordinating deliveries, managing lost and found items, and assisting with badge replacements and/or temporary access requests according to site policy.Communicate clearly with management, employees, and responding public services during urgent situations, providing updates and relaying instructions as directed.Participate in briefings, training, and policy updates to maintain knowledge of site-specific requirements and client service expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
