As a Security Officer - Bank Entry Desk in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a financial institution location, you will welcome employees and visitors, manage access control and badging, monitor lobby activity, and respond to security-related concerns with calm, clear communication. Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Staff the front desk post, greeting and directing visitors, answering phones when assigned, and supporting a professional lobby environment.Help manage access control by verifying identification, issuing and collecting visitor credentials, and maintaining visitor logs per site policy.Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems from the reception area when assigned, and report irregular activity through established channels.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalating conflicts when appropriate and requesting additional support as needed.Coordinate with site leadership and Allied Universal supervision regarding unusual situations, service requests, and shift updates.Complete required reports such as incident reports, shift logs, and access documentation in a clear and timely manner.Support property rules by observing for prohibited items and/or suspicious behavior near the lobby and notifying appropriate personnel according to site procedures.Assist with emergency procedures such as evacuations, lockdowns, and medical responses as directed by site policy and post orders.Maintain post readiness by keeping the reception area organized, handling keys and access devices per procedure, and following confidentiality expectations related to customer and account information.Minimum Requirements:
Have 1+ Years' Law Enforcement Experience OR 2+ Years' Security Supervisor/Manager Experience OR 3+ Years' Security Experience.Be 21+ Years of Age.Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.Guard Card/License is preferred.Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
