Security Officer - Bank Dispatch Driver

As a Security Officer - Bank Dispatch Driver in Newark, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will coordinate officer activity, monitor alarms and camera systems, manage incident communications, and support timely responses to security-related needs. You will remain highly visible through clear radio and phone updates, accurate logging, and professional customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, where agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity guide every shift.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Operate the dispatch function by receiving calls for service, monitoring alarms and access control activity, and coordinating response while maintaining clear, professional radio and phone communications.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and escalating notifications per post orders.Monitor surveillance and other security-related systems, track officer activity, and maintain accurate shift logs, incident reports, and key control documentation.Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, checking for unusual activity, unsecured doors, and policy violations, with working environments and conditions varying by location.

Minimum Requirements:

Have three or more years combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.Be at least 21 years of age.A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
