As a Security Officer Armed State Driver Patrol in New Port Richey, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal on an armed, driving patrol post supporting a government location. As a Security Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine mobile rounds, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to calls for service with clear communication and professionalism. You will leverage your armed guard card/license and valid driver’s license while delivering reliable, agile service through teamwork and integrity.

Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following post orders, security-related procedures, and/or site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.Conduct armed mobile and/or foot patrols throughout government property, including buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or unusual conditions.Respond to alarms, calls for service, disturbances, and critical incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, using de-escalation techniques and coordinating with on-site authorities as needed.Control access at designated points, check identification and/or credentials, verify authorizations, and direct visitors to appropriate locations in accordance with site requirements.Complete detailed incident reports, daily activity logs, and evidence documentation as required, and communicate observations and status updates to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.Minimum Requirements:
Have a minimum of 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.Possess an armed guard card and/or license.Be at least 21 years of age.A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
