As a Security Officer - Armed Roving Patrol in Tacoma, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm, clear communication. You will support clients and visitors through strong customer service while partnering with teammates in a caring culture that is agile, reliable, innovative, and grounded in integrity.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities.Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of the interior, exterior, and perimeter areas, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identifying potential hazards or policy violations.Monitor access points, lobby areas, and restricted spaces, verifying authorization and assisting with visitor management in accordance with site requirements.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and public emergency services as directed.Complete required reports and documentation, communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site management, and support cash handling and alarm response protocols as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.Have 1+ Years' Law Enforcement Experience OR 2+ Years' Security Supervisor/Manager Experience OR 3+ Years' Security Experience.Customer Service Experience is preferred.Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
