Provide customer service to the public and staff by following Allied Universal and site-specific security-related procedures, access control requirements, and emergency response activities as directed.Conduct regular and random foot patrols of facilities, platforms, parking areas, and perimeter locations, checking doors, gates, and restricted areas for unusual activity or conditions.Respond to incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing clear instructions and coordinating with site representatives and/or public agency partners as needed.Complete detailed reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate shift updates through required logs, radios, and/or other approved channels.Support orderly operations by directing visitors to appropriate locations, monitoring queues and common areas, and reporting hazards, maintenance issues, and policy violations through the proper process.Minimum Requirements:
Have a minimum of 1+ years of security-related experience.Possess an Armed Guard Card and/or license.A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
