Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols for an armed patrol post.Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, with particular attention to areas relevant to the technology and media environment.Monitor access points and screen individuals entering and exiting the premises, maintaining awareness of any potential security-related concerns specific to a technology, media, or telecom location.Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal procedures.Engage with employees, visitors, and/or contractors in a professional manner while maintaining a visible presence throughout assigned patrol routes.Remain alert to the unique security-related needs of a technology, media, or telecom location, adapting response as required by site-specific protocols.Minimum Requirements:
At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.An armed guard card or license is required.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
