Join Allied Universal as a patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, monitor activity, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. As an armed, driving post, you will maintain a professional presence, communicate clearly with tenants and visitors, and document observations while supporting a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and guided by integrity and a people-first culture.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical situations, fire alarms, and/or suspicious activity.Conduct regular and random patrols of building common areas, corridors, parking areas, loading and service areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and security-related concerns.Monitor access points and authorized entry areas as assigned, verifying credentials, directing visitors, and/or assisting with visitor check-in processes per site policy.Observe, report, and document unusual conditions such as unsecured doors, broken lights, blocked exits, and/or property damage, and communicate findings to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.Write timely and accurate reports regarding daily activities, incidents, and/or observations, using site reporting tools as required.Maintain a visible presence while interacting professionally with the public, addressing questions, providing directions, and de-escalating conflicts when possible.Coordinate with property management, engineering, and/or local public responders during incidents, providing clear information and support within assigned post orders.Operate site equipment as assigned, which may include radios, phones, access control systems, and/or CCTV, and report abnormalities per procedure.Follow all post orders and Allied Universal policies, including attendance, uniform standards, and confidentiality requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

An armed guard card/license is required.A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
