Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver in Anadarko, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and service calls with calm professionalism. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver’s license, along with an armed guard card or license. You will document activity, communicate clearly with site contacts, and support a caring, agile, reliable team that leads with integrity.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utility location.Carry and operate assigned firearm and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, post orders, and applicable laws and/or regulations.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, access control issues, suspicious activity, and requests for assistance.Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, perimeter fencing, and utility infrastructure to help to deter unauthorized access and/or tampering.Complete required reports and logs, document patrol observations and incident details, and communicate status updates to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

An armed guard card and/or license is required.A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.A guard card and/or license is preferred.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
