As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm, professional communication. You will document observations, use computer or tablet tools to report activity, and provide customer-focused support to staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff and visitors by following site-specific policies, completing required documentation, and supporting security-related procedures at a financial services location.Carry and maintain an authorized firearm and related equipment in accordance with licensing requirements, Allied Universal guidelines, and post orders, using professional judgment and escalation protocols.Respond to alarms, disturbances, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with law enforcement and/or emergency services when appropriate.Conduct regular and random armed patrols of lobbies, offices, cash handling areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.Monitor access points, verify identification and/or authorization as required, observe for unusual conditions, and promptly report hazards, suspicious activity, and security-related concerns through the approved chain of command.

Minimum Requirements:

Have 3+ years' combined law enforcement/military/security experience OR a college degree.Be 21+ years of age.Have 5+ years of security experience.Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.Have CPR certification preferred.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
