What You'll Do:

Carry out armed patrols throughout the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.Provide customer service to individuals on site by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to inquiries and offering assistance as needed.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols while maintaining professionalism.Monitor for suspicious activity and/or potential threats, and report findings in accordance with Allied Universal and site guidelines.Support emergency response activities as appropriate, including assisting with evacuations and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency personnel when required.Document observations, incidents, and/or irregularities in detailed reports for Allied Universal and client review.Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential disturbances and promote a welcoming atmosphere for employees and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.An armed guard card or license is required.At least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.Level III armed certification is required for positions in Texas only.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
