As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Patrol Driver in Tulsa, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to situations with calm, professional communication. This is an armed post and a driving post, requiring an armed guard card and a valid driver’s license. You will bring our agile, reliable, and innovative approach while delivering through teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Conduct armed patrols on foot and/or by vehicle throughout government facilities, parking areas, and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by location.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disputes, alarms, suspicious activity, and calls for assistance.Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, confirming authorization, and directing visitors, vendors, and staff to appropriate areas.Monitor cameras, intrusion and fire panels, radios, and other equipment to identify potential issues and report unusual activity per site-specific procedures.Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations in required reports and logs with clear, objective details.Coordinate with site representatives and/or local public emergency services partners when escalation is needed, while following post orders and communication protocols.Help to deter unauthorized entry, trespassing, theft, and property damage through visible presence, patrol activity, and prompt reporting.Perform vehicle and/or package screening as required by site-specific policies and applicable regulations.Maintain readiness of assigned post equipment, including required issued gear, and report equipment concerns to Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

An armed guard card and/or license is required.A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
