Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate de-escalation techniques.Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report observations according to established protocols.Maintain high visibility while on patrol to help to deter potential security-related incidents.Interact professionally with members of the public, staff, and visitors while performing assigned duties.Complete detailed incident and/or daily activity reports as directed by Allied Universal and site management.Minimum Requirements:
Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.Have at least 6 months of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.Hold a Level III Armed Certification if located in Texas.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
