As a Security Officer - Armed Federal Patrol in Salisbury, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer supporting a government corrections location. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal and site-specific security-related procedures, post orders, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and rule violations through proper channels.Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to identify unusual conditions and help to deter prohibited activity.Monitor access points and perform controlled entry procedures, including checking identification, verifying authorization, and documenting entries and exits per site requirements.Complete security-related documentation such as activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site contacts as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age.An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
