As a Security Officer - Armed Courthouse Patrol in Corpus Christi, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal at a government location as an armed patrol officer, bringing your Armed Guard Card and strong communication skills to support day to day operations. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, respond to alarms and/or concerns, and deliver professional customer service to staff and visitors. You will be part of an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site leadership and local public resources as needed.Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.Monitor access control points and screen for authorized entry, following established protocols for identification, keys, badges, and visitor processing.Complete detailed reports on patrols, incidents, and unusual observations, and communicate updates to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age.Possess an armed guard card and/or license.A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
