What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out armed security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial institution setting.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, including lobbies, ATM areas, vault-adjacent corridors, parking areas, and perimeter points. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying identification, authorizations, and/or visitor purpose in accordance with location procedures.Maintain a visible presence at key areas to help to deter criminal activity and/or disruptive behavior, while providing clear directions and assistance to employees, customers, and visitors.Operate and observe alarm panels, CCTV, and other monitoring systems, and report suspicious activity and/or hazards according to post orders.Complete required reports such as daily activity logs, incident reports, and use of force documentation when applicable, using accurate and timely details.Support cash movement and high-value transfer processes as directed by post orders, including observing routes and staging areas and reporting irregularities.Perform weapon and equipment checks at the start of shift, maintain proper retention and readiness per training, and store equipment according to location requirements.Follow escalation guidelines for medical events, disturbances, and security-related calls for service, using verbal de-escalation techniques when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.Provide proof of high school diploma/GED as required by the client.Be at least 21+ Years of Age.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
