What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.Maintain a visible armed presence in accordance with post orders, licensing requirements, and site-specific policies to help to deter unauthorized activity.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalating disputes and requesting law enforcement and/or emergency services when appropriate.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility interior, exterior, and perimeter areas, monitoring for unusual activity and policy violations.Control access to restricted areas by verifying credentials and/or authorizations for employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors.Monitor alarms, surveillance systems, and access control systems, initiating response actions in accordance with site procedures.Observe and report suspicious behavior, potential hazards, and security-related concerns, and complete required documentation and incident reports.Assist with opening and closing procedures, including checking doors, gates, and other access points for proper status in accordance with site policies.Support cash handling and high-value transfer activities by providing armed coverage during scheduled movements when directed by post orders.Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and management, providing directions and responding to questions while maintaining confidentiality of security-related information.Maintain readiness of assigned equipment in accordance with company policy, including conducting required checks and promptly reporting issues.Participate in required training, briefings, and post updates, and follow Allied Universal policies and client site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

- Be at least 21 years of age.- An armed guard card/license is preferred.- Customer service experience is preferred.- A guard card/license is preferred.- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
