As a Security Officer - Armed Bank Patrol in San Pedro, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a financial institution location as an armed patrol officer, where you will perform routine interior and exterior patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and alarm response. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points, documenting observations according to post orders.Monitor access points and customer areas, help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity, and verify credentials for employees, vendors, and visitors as required.Respond to alarms, disturbances, and critical incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and/or local law enforcement when needed.Complete detailed shift reports and incident documentation, maintain control of keys and access devices, and communicate status updates to Allied Universal supervision and client contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.Possess an armed guard card and/or license.Client requires proof of high school diploma and/or GED.CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
