As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol in Amarillo, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at an entertainment location, helping to maintain an inviting environment for guests and staff. You will complete routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm, professional communication. You will deliver customer service with integrity, teamwork, and a caring, people-first approach while documenting activities and reporting unusual conditions.

Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the location, including interior and exterior areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter points, as conditions vary by site.Perform access control duties such as monitoring entrances, verifying identification and/or authorization, and directing visitors and deliveries according to site procedures.Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and security-related hazards, and complete detailed written reports and incident documentation.Monitor security-related equipment and alarm systems when assigned, and notify appropriate personnel of activations and/or irregularities.Provide a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity, intervene within scope of assignment, and request assistance when escalation is needed.Assist with crowd management and de-escalation during busy periods and/or special events, following site guidelines and Allied Universal procedures.Maintain control of assigned firearm and related equipment in accordance with licensing requirements, training, and post orders, and report any issues immediately.Communicate clearly with clients, guests, and Allied Universal leadership, and participate in shift briefings and pass-downs to support continuity of operations.Minimum Requirements:
