As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, greet employees and visitors, and support visitor check-in and badge processes. You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and document activity with clear communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.Control access at entry and exit points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests to the appropriate check-in process.Screen and log inbound and outbound vehicle traffic, including employee vehicles, deliveries, and service providers, using gate logs and/or access control systems.Verify delivery documentation for inbound raw materials and outbound shipments and communicate discrepancies to site contacts per post orders.Monitor cameras and alarm panels, acknowledge alerts, and report unusual activity according to site procedures.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including access control violations, unauthorized entry attempts, and disturbances.Conduct routine perimeter and facility patrols as required by post orders to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.Document incidents, access logs, patrol activity, and maintenance issues in written reports and/or electronic reporting systems.Coordinate with site management, transportation personnel, and local responders when assistance is requested, following established escalation procedures.Follow health and hygiene requirements for a food processing environment, including required personal protective equipment use and controlled area entry protocols.

Minimum Requirements:
