**Hiring Low Voltage Electrician (Security)**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated Low Voltage Technician to assist with medium to large size commercial construction projects, including both new builds and reconstructions. You will be responsible for running wire, bending conduit, and installing security systems, access control systems, alarms, and CCTV systems.
**Responsibilities**
+ Run wire and bend conduit for various commercial projects.
+ Program and troubleshoot fire alarm, access control, alarm, and CCTV systems as needed.
+ Guide and delegate tasks to electrician helpers.
+ Inspect installations to ensure quality and compliance with code standards.
+ Enforce job safety requirements and ensure safety in the workplace.
+ Demonstrate consistent consideration for high-quality standards.
+ Adhere to budget considerations and manage materials.
+ Maintain customer relations and quality control.
+ Train new team members and attend meetings.
+ Identify conflicts and resolve problems.
**Essential Skills**
+ MUST HAVE PERC CARD
+ Experience with commercial electrician work.
+ Ability to run wire, bend conduit, and read/follow blueprints.
+ Capability to work independently on all aspects of electrical work.
+ Proficiency in working well with a team and following instructions.
+ Excellent time management skills.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in telecommunications, security systems, and video installations.
+ Knowledge of audio and cable installations.
+ Skill in conduit bending and schematic reading.

**Work Environment**
All work will take place on commercial job sites, including industrial facilities, commercial buildings, hotels, and high-end residential areas. You will interact with general contractors and other subcontractors on site, working in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Schaumburg, IL.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $40.00/hr.
