Allied Universal® is hiring a Intelligence Analyst. The Intelligence Analyst must demonstrate an ability to communicate both written and orally at a professional level and must demonstrate an ability to proactively make decisions, multi-task, and operate under tight time constraints. The Intelligence Analyst position requires a broad geopolitical awareness, working knowledge of global events, and experience with global geography/cultures. The individual must work closely with team members and the wider business to understand information requirements.

Pay Rate: $24.21 hour

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED)State licensing requirements; ability to obtain a South Carolina Law Enforcement (SLED) Security Safeguard state certificationPass a mandatory background check and drug screeningMinimum of two (2) years in a security intelligence-related field or corporate security environmentExcellent research, written and oral communication, and presentation skillsOpen-source research skills; ability to use/manipulate social media resources for proactive intelligence collectionDemonstrated research and critical thinking skills to identify, collect, synthesize, and evaluate large amounts of data and draw logical, measured, and actionable conclusionsAbility to work a flexible schedule and sometimes extended schedule during crisis periods, this may include some weekends and holidaysAbility to work efficiently on rotational shiftsAbility to operate under stress and multi-task in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under strict deadlinesSelf-motivated, strong organizational and multitasking skills, detail-orientedEqually comfortable working independently or collaboratively on a project, often under compressed timelines and often across time zonesHighly responsive and proactive, able to own tasks from start to finishAbility to manage large volumes of emails and deadlines with little supervisionHandle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficientlyStrong professional ethics and ability to maintain discretion and trust

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

College degree in a relevant field of study (e.g., international relations, political science, history, national security studies, appropriate regional studies, journalism, public relations, criminal justice, or business communications)Analytic experience within the Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) community, and/or previous experience with the intelligence community, security consulting, or corporate securityTechnical expertise and experience in gathering information from open sources, government or vendor reporting, social media and/or public or private sector partnership networksInternational experience, cultural awareness, and sensitivity
