Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Install Technician with expertise in servicing, troubleshooting, programming, and testing enterprise security systems. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of access control, IP cameras, intrusion, and visitor management systems. You will troubleshoot and program networked IP video and access control, as well as service commercial alarm and IoT systems. Providing excellent customer service is essential.
ResponsibilitiesPerform installation work in a profitable and proper manner using systems such as Bosch, Lenel/S2, OpenPath, and Gentec.Conduct preventive maintenance work as per the designated service program for specific customers.Accurately maintain all work records and parts used at each job in accordance with established procedures.Keep manuals and details up to date as changes are advised.Properly maintain company vehicles, tools, and other property.Present a neat and clean appearance personally and in workmanship, following company policies.Maintain an adequate parts inventory for the service vehicle and keep an inventory log.Test equipment before leaving the job site and perform a safety check.Maintain good customer relations and provide excellent customer service.Assist with the installation of security systems, including CCTV, access control, intrusion alarms, and intercoms.Pull and terminate low-voltage cabling such as Cat5e, Cat6, and coaxial.Mount and wire security devices like cameras, card readers, and sensors.Support senior technicians with system configuration and testing.Maintain accurate documentation of installations and service calls.Follow safety protocols and company procedures on job sites.Essential Skills1-5 years of alarm or electrical installation/service experience.Experience in servicing and programming commercial access control and IP-based video systems.Proficiency in troubleshooting networked access control and IP video systems.High school diploma or GED.Valid state driver’s license without restrictions.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrior experience servicing or installing automated doors.Experience in electrical, HVAC, construction, or communication fields.Ability to interpret and read blueprints clearly.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Certifications in technologies such as Gentec, Software House, Lenel/S2, OpenPath, Prowatch, Genetech, Access, and Bosch.Why Work Here?

The company plans road days so technicians can return home daily. Work exclusively in commercial and industrial settings, with no residential work.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $38.00/hr.
