As a Security Guard - Unarmed Rover Driver in Malvern, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a financial institution location as an armed patrol officer in a driving post. You will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, control access, and respond to alarms and service calls with clear communication and customer-focused professionalism. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by location.Monitor access points, screening areas, and controlled-entry doors; verify authorization for employees, visitors, vendors, and deliveries in accordance with post orders.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; coordinate with site leadership and/or local law enforcement when escalation is required.Complete detailed reports on patrol activities, incidents, and unusual conditions; communicate observations to appropriate personnel and participate in required briefings and training.

Minimum Requirements:

Have a minimum of 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.Be at least 21 years of age.A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Have Act 235 qualification in Pennsylvania only.An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
