As a Security Guard - Unarmed Office Tower Patrol in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to reduce security-related incidents. You will greet tenants and visitors, respond to questions and concerns with strong customer service, and communicate clearly with site contacts and your team. Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a commercial real estate environment.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical situations, disputes, suspicious activity, and/or property-related concerns, and notify appropriate parties as needed.Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading and service corridors, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or operational issues.Monitor access points and observe visitor and vendor activity, helping to manage orderly entry and exit in accordance with site procedures.Complete security-related incident reports and daily activity logs with clear, accurate details, and communicate updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal management.Provide assistance with wayfinding, tenant service requests, and general questions while maintaining a professional presence throughout the property.Observe and report hazards, unsecured doors, damaged lighting, and/or other conditions that could impact operations, and relay findings to appropriate personnel.Support fire and life equipment awareness, including observing alarms and panel notifications as directed by site procedure and coordinating response notifications when required.Work collaboratively with property management, maintenance, and other on-site teams while following post orders and customer service expectations.Use communication devices and/or monitoring systems as assigned to maintain situational awareness and coordinate patrol coverage across the property.Minimum Requirements:
Have 2+ years of security-related experience.Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.CPR certification is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
